Jennifer Posey In 2025, Mrs. Jennifer Posey was appointed principal of Dr. Thomas L. Higdon Elementary School. Before stepping into this role, she served as an assistant principal at both William B. Wade Elementary School and Mary H. Matula Elementary School. Mrs. Posey began her career in education in 2009 with Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) as a science teacher at Theodore G. Davis Middle School and later taught at Gale-Bailey Elementary School. She transitioned into school leadership in 2018 when she became an assistant principal. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Salisbury University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Towson University. As principal, Mrs. Posey is dedicated to cultivating a positive school culture where both students and educators can thrive, while also strengthening the sense of community within the school. |
